Larissa and Cole are one of the sweetest and most beautiful couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Just all around good people, both inside and out.
I had the esteem pleasure of being referred to them by the Carneros Inn, in Napa, California. The Carneros is one of my top, favorite venues to shoot at. Not only is the property gorgeous, but each member of the staff is professional, knowledgeable and helpful!
In addition to capturing their wedding day, Larissa and Cole opted to have a very fun, and unique rehearsal dinner on Halloween, the night before their wedding which I also photographed! The rehearsal dinner took place at the Meritage Resort and Spa. Everyone in attendance wore costumes- Larissa an Indian, and Cole and cowboy! What fun it was to be there capturing all of the guests dressed in costumes, all the while each and everyone was excited about the upcoming wedding 🙂
Larissa and Cole opted to do a First Look prior to the ceremony. If you are wondering what a First Look is, I wrote a little blurb about it here. Their first look took place in front of their cottage on the Carneros Property, both were taken aback by how amazing each one looked. There were hugs, tears, laughter and lots of kisses. So fun to have that moment of seeing one another for the first time to savor between just the two of them (and myself and second photographer, of course 😉 )
From there, we were able to take more photos of just Cole and Larissa together around the property before they headed back to their cottages to freshen up for the ceremony!
Their ceremony took place on the Apple Orchard, a gorgeous backdrop of rolling Napa hills, and vineyards nestled among two rows of apple trees. Guest gathered, while music played and the two became Mr. & Mrs. in front of all of their most cherished family, and friends. After the ceremony, everyone headed up to Hill Top where a few minutes were spent capturing family photos, then Larissa and Cole joined their guests to enjoy cocktail hour with everyone! The views, and ambiance Hill Top provides is unparalleled to any other venue in Napa County!
Three long rows of family style tables, with purple and cream colored flowers adorned the tables where everyone enjoyed a 5 Star meal. Right as the sun set, Larissa, Cole and I stepped outside to capture additional images of them among the hills, perfectly lit by pink and purple hues of the sun setting. It was OH SO romantic! The party carried on far into the night with only the best DJ around, A. Long Music! He had people dancing, and I mean dancing!!
Larrisa and Cole, thank you again for entrusting me with your wedding. It was an honor to not only be present, but to capture your day in it’s entirety. I hope that you enjoy your wedding images for many years to come! Cheers to a long, healthy and happy marriage!
(Special thanks to one of my amazing second photographers, Teneya Fleckenstein. I couldn’t have shot this wedding without you!)
